Grassy hops, wheat and a good bit of lemon in the aroma. High level of carbonation. Crisp, light and wheaty. More lemony than any beer I can recall. Thin, but I wouldn’t call it watery. A solid, refreshing beer to throw back at BBQs and whatnot, but I wouldn’t be interested otherwise. Too blah. At least it manages to avoid any weird, chemical swill tastes. Aroma of grassy hops with some sour notes of lemon. Cut grass taste with some biscuity flavors. Finishes a bit chewy with wet cardboard. More hops and less lemon could make this better. Not much to get excited about. Sregnar35 (732), Rotterdam, New York, USA

| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Jun 19, 2005 Pretty average blond ale. A little lemon to the noise and the tartness helps mask a slight skunk factor. Easy drinking because there ain’t much there. bmanLS (114), Gibsonia, Pennsylvania, USA
| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Jun 18, 2005 Not bad, easy to drink, fast going down and just a bit better than most mass produced beers. It pours with a small white head and has a clear golden body. The mouth is watery with a skunky flavor that matches the nose. Goblincat (357), Westland, Michigan, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jun 4, 2005 My guess is that the goal of this beer was to be a simple refreshing beer to drink at parties and/or sporting events in the Summer. For that, it works. I had some while cooking on the grill and listening to a baseball game today, and it filled the intended role perfectly. It’s moments like these that I don’t really want a thick complex 98 percentile beer, but a thinner refreshing ale that doesn’t taste like crap. This beer had just the right amount of flavor for the role, in the same way Blue Moon Belgian White or Bell’s Oberon does. Shag (1923), Chattanooga, Tennessee, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Jun 4, 2005 A soapy corn and lemon aroma. The appearance is a light yellow with a large head. The flavor is fairly weak with some malt presence and grass. A slightly bitter aftertaste. "Born to play!" Well this one is playing for the Tampa Bay Devil Rays. Definitley a sub .500 beer. robertsreality (2460), Minnesota, USA
