Location: 12 oz bottle from Gilly’s, 7/7/09

Aroma: Sweet lemony, malty nose
Appearance: Clear yellowish-orange color, little-to-no head
Flavor: Strong malty sweetness, yeasty, citrusy fruits
Palate: Light body, a little overly carbonated
Overall Impression: Overall this one was just plain average. A simple, not too exciting golden ale. This one is what it is, nothing exciting, but a drinkable summer brew.

Bottle Pours a clear gold with an average white head. The head is fizzy and deminishing. Has an aroma of lemon and citrus with hints of wheat. Has an okay carbonation. The flavor is soft but decent. A good kick of crispness followed by some spices. Has a light body. Has a watery texture. The finish is okay but on the weak side. Not an awful beer.

Kicking off the summer of 2009 with some summer ales. This one has a pale orange color with a white head. Aroma of citrus hops and tea. Flavor is sweet and also has hints of orange. Palate is mainly sweet, with some citrus hops in the finish. Overall taste has hints of sweet tea.

12oz bottle. Pours a light copper color with a thick white head. The Aroma of wheat, lemon, hops, and hints of yeast. The tastes is mellow with a hint of yeast, malt, lemon and slight hint of cereal. The finish is slightly bitter but smooths out. One of my favorite easy to come by summer brews.

Pours gold with a thin white head. Smells of pronounced citrus. Tastes like lemon drink with some dry maltiness on the finish.
