Aroma of citrus and yeast. Very light-bodied, very dry with a small hop bite, but otherwise dominated by wheat esters and citrus. I bet this is pretty much what a filtered Belgian Wit would taste like. It is thought as a light and refreshing summer quencher and as such it works perfectly. 230306 argo0 (6982), Washington DC, USA

| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | May 7, 2004 Clear, golden ale with a mid-sized, frothy, white head. Good retention. The nose has notes of lemon and grains. Well-balanced, but mostly lifeless flavor... maybe a touch of lemon and a whisper of butterscotch. Medium-bodied with fizzy carbonation. Short, crisp, clean finish. Cletus (5058), Connecticut, USA

| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Apr 26, 2006 12 oz bottle. Golden coloured beer, thick white head. Aroma of pale malt, woody hopppiness and light lemony citrus. Some wheaty spiciness as well. Flavour is pretty clean, light malt and earthy/woody hops. Citrusy and bready finish. A few more hops and this would be a respectable sparking ale. Much better than I thought it would be and a refreshing summer beer. ¾ (4999), Colorado, USA
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | May 1, 2004 Semi-dark yellow color, light lemon and grain aroma, flavor is weak and transparent lemons and oranges. Very light and weak, with a slightly crisp finish of lemons, slightly acidic on the mouth. Cornfield (4972), Oak Forest, Illinois, USA
| 2.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 7/20 | Aug 10, 2004 It was on clearance sale at the Jewels, so I bought a six-pack of bottles. It didn’t impress me as much of a wheat ale, the lemon flavor covering any hint of hops. It actually tasted more like a watered down lager. Most wheats are refreshing summer fare, but this just kind of slid down the throat and was gone. JPDIPSO (4932), Wauwatosa, Wisconsin, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Aug 23, 2004 Light golden color with a tall bright white head. Some heavy lace rings. Very light malt with highlights of lemongrass and weeds (regweed and goldenrod). Light wheat and malt flavors (lightly toasted white bread). Again some herbal/weed like flavors. Does not seem to fit into my summer schedule of brews; not real refreshing, not real light, too sweet. Really can not rally around this one. Thanks for the brew Falconeye8.
