Aug 9, 2008 Bottle, Belgian Belly, Chorlton. Poured a clear true golden colour with a medium white head. Aroma was intensely woody mixed with sour green apple.
Flavour had obvious evidence of the oak barrel aging. Wasn’t overtly sour and struck a good balance between the woodiness and the fruit. Definite cider parallels. Finish was sour if a little short.

Aug 8, 2008 A real treat. Pours a fizzy golden color with a large white head that sticks around to the last sip. The flavor reveals a light tart aroma with a bit of fresh green apple and straw. The flavor is a bit bigger than the aroma with noticeable oak elements along with a subtle sourness and fruity finish. Very fizzy mouthfeel. Very nice.

Aug 6, 2008 A clear yellow/golden colored beer, with a huge white foamy head. The aroma reminds me at a geueze. It’s sour, woody, fruity fresh of citrus, with some malts. At the taste you recognized the time it’s conserved in wooden barrels. It’s a fruity fresh beer, with notes of bread in teh back. Very drinkable and refreshing.

Aug 2, 2008 Bottle. Pours nearly clear gold with a lacy white head. Aroma of sour vanilla and earth. Medium-light body and carbonation. Taste of white grapes and brett with a little edge of white vinegar. Crisp and refreshing finish. This is nice!

Aug 1, 2008 Not my thing, that’s for sure. Rating this based on what I think it would rate against other’s of it’s kind. Tastes like a fruitless lambic. Which I guess is about right. I thought this would be a woody, earthy beer. But instead it is a vinegary thin form of guerze, etc... Whereas geurze tastes earthy and interesting, this one is just too sour. Could be a bad bubbly white wine...

Jul 31, 2008 This beer pours a golden yellow with a thin white head. The aroma is malty sour, the flavor is the same although not overly sour. Not really a fan of the sours but this one was pretty decent. Cheers!

Jul 29, 2008 Updated: Aug 27, 2008A fairly decent sour ale. Light yellow colored with little head. Traditional brett aroma. Flavor was sour at first but then was overcome by a mellow sweetness. Very balanced, mellow. Really easy to drink. I found that this is something I could drink all the time.
