| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Aug 8, 2007 Bottle from Friar Tucks in Champaign, IL. Pours a hazy golden amber with a one finger white head. Aroma of belgian funk- sourness, lemon, and spice. Medium bodied with a soft texture and subtle prickly carbonation. Flavor has the right balance between tartness, sweetness, cherry, and malt. Medium dry and oaky finish, with a bite of acidity before it goes down. Less aggressive than other flemish sours, but very balanced and easy to drink. Trev (867), Lakeville, Minnesota, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Aug 4, 2007 Very interesting, reminded me of a grand cru or sour ale really.
Poured a medium gold with a thin bubbly white head.
Aroma was under-ripe apricot, buttery, Some sour alc. as well. Flavour was intense on the front of the palate with sharp tartness. Middle eased with a bit of malt honey sweetness, then a sour finish that was a bit thin.
