An interestingn brew with flavors reminiscent of loquat or kumquat. Almost taste olives too. Dry, sour, and salty. Unique and I’d certainly enjoy another.

slightly hazy dark yellow, fine bright white head, big tart woody aroma with a hint of sweetness in the background, huge tart flavor, nice fruity lemon character, touch of wood that gives a bit of balancing bitterness,

poured a dark yellow hue with a frothy white head which had nice lacing. Slight carbonation present. Aroma was a mix of lemon and apple esters and some yeast. Flavor was tart, and at times over carbonated. still nice.

Yellow with a medium sized white head. Grapefruit and brett, oak and leather in the aroma. Dry and very tart with some oak notes.

Bottle from Friar Tucks in Champaign, IL. Pours a hazy golden amber with a one finger white head. Aroma of belgian funk- sourness, lemon, and spice. Medium bodied with a soft texture and subtle prickly carbonation. Flavor has the right balance between tartness, sweetness, cherry, and malt. Medium dry and oaky finish, with a bite of acidity before it goes down. Less aggressive than other flemish sours, but very balanced and easy to drink.

Very interesting, reminded me of a grand cru or sour ale really. Poured a medium gold with a thin bubbly white head. Aroma was under-ripe apricot, buttery, Some sour alc. as well. Flavour was intense on the front of the palate with sharp tartness. Middle eased with a bit of malt honey sweetness, then a sour finish that was a bit thin.
