| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jul 5, 2007 Shared bottle with fordest at O’briens. This trip turned out to be about the sours. Very nice sour smell and flavors of sour cherries and maybe some wine like qualities. This is becomming one of my favorite styles. mnurda (434), Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada
| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Jun 14, 2007 At the Fat Belgian in Toronto. Not my style of beer, but tasted fine. Bit strong for my liking. Can see how it is rated so highly. dmac (1500), Toms River, New Jersey, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Jun 11, 2007 11.2 oz bottle shared with willblake at willblakes. Poured an ever so slightly hazy orangey/gold with a small white head. Aroma was sour, funky with some notes of wood and fruit. Flavor was only mildly sour with notes of fruit and a tiny bit of wood. Nice beer and was not a sour funk monster like some of the lambics I had drank earlier in the day at Beast of A Yeast. BigBeer45 (706), Michigan, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 4/10 | 4/5 | 10/20 | Jun 5, 2007 Updated: Nov 12, 200711.2 oz. Bottle – 5.8% alc. on the label: pours a honey gold with a faint haze, white bubbles that thin out, effervescent, fruit and floral aromas, with dry pungent sourness and whiffs of sweet, there is a cellar and/or wood fragrance, some grapefruit citrus fragrance, a sour tart taste with faint fruit sweetness that dissipates quickly, each sip brought a small pucker to my lips, there is dry pepper in the finish that is pretty clean, this is balanced towards the sour side, a bitterness on the tongue, I cannot sense any alcohol in this ale but every sip brings a tingle to my nostrils, the tartness composes itself as it warms, I like Flemish Sours that have more malt sweetness, this has just too much sour tartness to enjoy but it certainly was more palatable after it assumed room temperature. nick76 (2684), Tampa, Florida, USA

The appearance is deep hazy gold with a small foamy head. The flavor is like the aroma and very acidic. The palate is smooth. The finish is very sour but short. Overall a well crafted beer but not my thing. MrBendo (1044), Swedesboro, New Jersey, USA
