A lactic sour beer. The taste of malts is a harsh lemon flavor. a fizzy mouth feel. its more sour than Petrus old ale but not as sour as some other ones that I have tried.

33 cl bottle, ’bbe’ April 08. Brass coloured, totally transparent. Scarce sparkle, the head is history in no time. Sharp lactic acid aroma with background of lightly fermented (home made) fruit jam. Dry, sour, fruity - apples? - quite wine-like. Light spicy finish, somewhat chalky mouthfeel.

Golden amber in colour, medium sized quickly dissipating off-white head, spotty lacing. The aroma is sour, citrusy (lemons and oranges), musty, yeasty, sugary. Kind of reminded me of a faro. The flavour is dry and tart, good moderate sourness, yeasty, slightly acidic, apples, earthy, dark fruits. Dry mouthfeel, medium/light body, medium/high carbonation. Finishes dry, sweet and lingering for some time. This is quite good, sort of a Flemish/Lambic hybrid.

330ml bottle obtained in a trade with <a href=http://www.ratebeer.com/ViewUser.asp?U target=blank>Larry Pitonka, thanks Andre.

Bottle. At first I had no idea what to think of this beer. Sour, and very bitter. But after a while, the beer was a very interesting mix that I was not faimiar with. Very acidic.
