Aoroma is tart with notes of oak, fruits, and a little caramel; color is gold with a small yellow-tinged head, that laces nicely as it recedes; flavor is of tart lemons and malt, with an apple ester showing in the background, and a tart finish. lachesis (759), St Idesbald, Belgium
| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 5/5 | 16/20 | Aug 6, 2006 Nice golden-blond color with a stabile creamy white head. Aroma is crisp and refresching complex. It has hints of wood, and loads of sour stone fruits. also a faint earthy touch, some wet wood, grass, herbs and hops. One thing is sure, it smels cleaner then an authentic gueuze. The taste is very well ballanced, it is again very crisp, malty and lemoney. The beer has a medium mouthfeel and an elegant smoothness. It has a very refresching caracter and a very nice and quit complex afthertaste. MikeMac (185), Wyandotte, Michigan, USA

| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jul 9, 2006 Bottled. Golden colour, huge bubbly/fluffy head with some lacing. Caramellish malts in aroma along with some hints of honey and oak. Flavour is alcohol, malts, some oaky hints, especially in the aftertaste. Some spicy notes also. Quite strangely mixed beer. sayravai (3752), Helsinki, Finland
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Jul 8, 2006 Updated: Nov 27, 2007(Bottled) Clear golden with a medium, frothy and lightly lacy head. Sweetish-malty, typical Flemish Sour Ale aroma of balsamico and some vanilla oakiness. Earthy, tart vinous-vinegary flavor with quite a lot of balancing, sweetish malt. No alcohol present. Medium-bodied, quite carbonated palate leaves some sticky sugar behind. Could be less carbonated and sugary, but quite enjoyable still. Sampled a bit too warm, I guess.
(Bottled, rated 7/8/2006, was 7-3-6-3-13=3.2) Slightly hazy golden color with a medium, big-bubbled and fading head. Sweet-sour, malty, slightly oaky aroma. Sourish-malty flavor with some astringent oak barrel in the finish. Alcohol is well hidden. Medium-bodied, sweet-sour palate with balanced carbonation. Quite a mixed bag, but not one of my favorites. 1FastSTi (2575), Glendale, Wisconsin, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Jul 2, 2006 $3.59. Pours to a pale golden body that has tons of quick visible carbonation. Lasting foamy white head. The aroma is generically sour. A wool blanket. I had the wool blanket lying around, so I smelled that. Fairly similar qualities underneath the sour green grapes and apples. The flavor seems like it has some toffee hiding underneath the sour acidicness. Oaky properties. Leaves a butter brickle like aftertaste with some generic sourness. Kind of like a gueuze mixed with a toffee bock and torrified wheat ale. The palate is tart, easy drinking, nicely carbonated. This is a pretty good Flemish sour. redlight (1489), Winter Park, Florida, USA

The aroma is sour, acidic, yet sweet. Pours blonde with no head. Oh yea thats good. Funky sourness up front, tingling your mouth, then very smooth sweet finish, almost no aftertaste, very clean. footbalm (1218), Salt Lake City, Utah, USA
