Great tart taste filled with apple, grape, cherry, and pine. Full of cheese accents, with a excellent mouth puckering ending. skortila (2914), Bunnik, Netherlands

Slightly hazy, orange coloured with a thin, white head. Quite beautiful. Exciting taste, smooth and balanced. Sweet and sour. Vinegar/tartness. Bit citric. Somehow a combination between a gueuze and a flemish sour. Nuffield (2728), Roseville, Minnesota, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Feb 28, 2006 The aroma suggests citrus, cherry, band-aid, rubbing alcohol, and that vintaged quality. Big time sour, and awesome. I’m thinking lambic but more soy and acid. The cherry comes out nicely. Excellent. caesar (3034), Bunnik/Utrecht, Netherlands
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Feb 27, 2006 6th DRG, some bottles were available at Bert’s Bierhuis, Utrecht. Slightly hazy golden color, medium head. More like a light gueuze, than a flemish sour where usually there are some cherry-like notes. Soft, bit sweet and hoppy, some oakwood. Quite sour overall. Gets more intense while drinking. bierkoning (6100), La Tropica, Netherlands
| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 9/10 | 5/5 | 16/20 | Feb 27, 2006 It is sour, it is Flemish and it is no lambic. I’ve been looking forward to taste this beer, and I wasn’t disappointed. 6th DRG. Golden color, slightly hazy. Citric, woody aroma. Very citric flavor, medium to full bodied, with some cream in the aftertaste. Raspberry. Some hopcharacter. Really great. jbrus (4895), Delft, Netherlands
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Feb 27, 2006 Bottled, 6th DRG. Aroma is tart, oak and vinegar. Hazy, yellow color, off-white head, good lace. Vinegar, hay, almost like a geuze at the start but soon this is gone. Oak and some sourness stays but also gets sweeter, medium body. Classified as flemish sour ale, but I don’t agree. And it ain’t no geuze. It’s a style on it’s own. harrisoni (6946), Ashford, Kent, England
| 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Feb 27, 2006 Botlle at t’Waagstak in Antwerp. Golden with white head. Sour, farmyard aroma. But little bit of sweetness too. Sourness builds up in mouth, but the feel is quite velvety too. The farmyard carries on to teh end which has a mix of sweet and sour. A real change from the brown beers that I had been drinking. Some lemon. I like this, good mix and balance Lumpy (1802), Carrollton, Texas, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 2/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Feb 26, 2006 Bottle. Big sour cherry, bacteria, band-aid, slight pear, sour brett, light horse, puckering, excellent in it’s thinness. A way above average Flemish Sour.
