Bottle pours out a gold topped with a off white head. Aroma of wood and sour fruit. tast of light sour and some fruit on the tongue a light tartness on the end. this one is a great first sour to try out. Pretty mellow.

Pours just about crystal clear, dark golden-amber in color. A minimal, off-white head fizzes away quickly, leaving just a hazy film at the surface. A few wet spots remain behind on the glass. The nose gives of notes of sweet, caramelized nectarine, with tangy apricot and green apple tartness. Soured, woody oak comes through, complimenting the sweet-tart fruit nicely. Flavors mirror the aroma, with a lactic, oaky sourness showing alongside lightly sugary nectarine and zesty lemon peel. It’s quite acetic, much more so than any blond sour in my recent memory. Medium bodied, there is a sprite, lively carbonation that intensifies the lingering, semi-dry, acetic finish. This is a good beer, and a noticeable step up from the other Petrus brews I’ve had.

Bottle. Pours gold that is clear and pale with a light thin head. Tart aroma with a taste to match like granny smith apples. Very light and easy to drink with an almost dry quality on the back end.

Bottle. Pours a clear pale yellow/gold with a one-finger white head that reduces quickly to just a ring. Lacing is good but nothing special. Nose is immediately tart, clean, sour dry, light apples and toasty aromas. Wonderfully dry and tart, with a good clean brightness, with herbal and oaky notes. Yeasty, sourdough and apples finish that lingers on and on. But for the fact is 7.3%, this could easily be a favorite session beer.

Taste 6/9 bottle. Looks: Pale cloudy gold. Aroma: Acidic, straw and sticky bread. Taste: Dry. Acidic, mouth watering beer. Mild fruitiness overwhelmed by a puckering need to replenish one’s thirst.

Bottled 33cl. Courtesy of Daniele. It pours a clear golden beer with a nice off white head. Sour nose with a lot of oak showing up. Hints of leather, apples, tarragon, sage and blueberries. sour taste of apples, blueberries and tarragon. The oak characteristic is quite present. Low carbonation. Medium bodied. Some lacework. Dry finish which is reminiscent of apples. Very pleasant.

Woo-hoo! mmm, mm, good beer! Very interesting. Big tropical fruit nose with a lilttle malt and a hint of the flavor to come: sour. Poured with a small head that quickly fades to almost none and a tiny bit of lace. Very clear rich gold color. Flavor is much more dry and much less fruity than the nose would suggest. Very nice carbonation. Tartness lingers on the tip of the tongue. Finish is clean leaves good memories. Not sure if it’d be a session beer.

[2025-20090303] 330mL bottle. Sweet lemon juice aroma has a bit of pineapple. Clear, orange yellow body with a medium-lasting foamy white head. Tangy yeast fruit flavour with sour lemon throughout. Medium body has a sour tang. Very nice!
