Bottle: pours amber gold that has a fruit juice look to it, a creamy thick white head that leaves lots of lacing, big aromas of sweet bread and cake, mild citrus and fruit, yeast, some floral fragrances, faint alcohol in the nose, sweet malt with a peach-orange citrus bitterness or sweet malt fruitiness with a mild to medium citrus bite, flavor is towards the sweet but is dry in the finish, touch of alcohol in the swig and some pepper on the tongue, a little too much sweet. Dark honey golden color, white head. Fruity, grassy, vinegar-like aroma. Sweet, fruity flavor (sugar, peach), subdued woody hops with some alcohol. Too sweet, someway unbalanced, but kind of ok. stegosaurus (1882), Levittown, Pennsylvania, USA

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 2/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Jun 11, 2007 Shared with Cab: Clear gold with very fast disappearing head & no lace. Strong fruity (orange/honey) & spicy aroma - very sweet. Medium sweet taste with a light metal note. Rather harsh with a dry bitter end - but def. a blond with Charisma & decent drinkability! chicagobears (336), Elk Grove Village, Illinois, USA

The flavor has a little tartness, a minty coolness, dry biscuit, and sweet pear. Has a long dry yeasty finish. IrishBoy (2718), Bakersfield, California, USA

| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 4/5 | 10/20 | May 27, 2007 The aroma yeasty with sweet malt, spice, cheese, and metal. The appearance is copper/gold with a nice but average head for the style. The flavor is bitter and like the aroma. The palate is smooth. This is pretty good and very much a generalized, amalgamation of several Belgian beers.
