Served in a tulip, it’s a deep beautiful reddish. Aroma of fruit almost wine. Very good taste, lots of fruits and and a wonderful aftertaste. Would buy again

Bottle 33 cl. Pours a dark amberish brown with a small off-white head and a sweet chocolatish aroma. The flavor starts really sweet with caramel, raisin, ripe fruits and chocolate. Then it ends with a bitter and sourish finish. Tasty.

Dark brown in color with a kind of reddish tint. Caramel notes on the nose and plenty of unfinished unconverted sugars on the palate. Slightly cloying, with a minor metallic tang. Still, the fruits are rich and bright -- orange, apple, banana. Some yeast, but not in harmony with the rest of the profile.

On tap at Sharp Edge. A dark brown opaque brown color with a medium beige head. A deep malty aroma of dark fruit, smoked brown sugar, and a bit of a yeasty character. Taste of apples, plums, caramel malts and sweet brown sugar. A medium to light body that leaves a little bit of sweetness on the tongue.

On tap at Sharp Edge. Woody musty aroma, mild oak and light sweet grain, caramel malt. Dusty. Apple skins. Not much in the way of hops. Hazy brown, with no head. Murky. Medium body with medium fizzy carbonation, a bit watery. Starts sweet with light caramel, apple skins, and brown sugar. A little woody. Sweet and a bit watery with a light dry-nutty finish. OK, but just lacks a little something.

Dark brown/black in colour with small toffee coloured head. Weird acidic aroma. malty flavour with hint of rasin. Always good for a challenge.

ZBF2008: From tap. Pours dark brown with a lacing off-white head. Aroma is light fruity and mild malty. Flavour is light fruity, mild caramel malty with a light note of roasted malt. Cane sugarish lingering finish. Light yeasty note.

Bottle, 6.5%. Very slow gusher. Malty aroma, but a bit rough. Darks malts and brown sugar. Cloudy dark brown colour. Small light brown head. The flavour is quite sweet with some nice, mildly roasted notes. A little creamed coffee, some sweet dark bread, quite some brown sugar. CO2 finish. Reminds me of a hvidtøl for grownups.
