The body is a very dark ruddy and thick brown. The head is light tan and long lasting. The aroma has some fresh dough with corn syrup. There is also a little bit of caramel. The taste is sweet toffee with some light coffee in the finish. There is also some bubblegum in the mouth after drinking a little. A decent brew, but a little sweet for me. I am obviously missing something that others liked. MesandSim (5955), London, Greater London, England

Red-brown body with a good tan head, bubbly but well behaved. Flavour is just like the nose with a bitter coffee finish. Great palate. A good beer. bu11zeye (5649), Frisco, Texas, USA

| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jul 29, 2006 Pours a cloudy deep copper/ orange with a nice off white head. Spicy yeasty aroma with some fruity esters and lightly sweet caramel malts. Lightly toasty flavor, some nuttiness, more fruit and an earthy hoppy flavor as well. A bit too sweet in the middle and almost became cloying. Other than that, this was ok. zebracakes (1216), Washington DC, USA
