330ml brown bottle. Chestnust brown pour, quite heady - tan coloured foam. Good creamy lacing left behind. Sweet malt aroma, light toffe/brown sugar. Initally sweet on the tounge, brown sugar, light raisin, caramel. Chewy, medium body. Mild carbonation. Nice ale, a bit sweet, but quite drinkable.

Bottle and tap. Another mediocre brew from Petrus. Nice sweet fruity malts aspect though. Taste a bit more like a bock almost because of the thin body.

Bottle. Brown sugar and prune aroma. Dark brown with a thin film of a head. Strong brown sugar/toffee malt and prune/raisin flavor with light astringency. Nice drinking beer.

From the bottle, pours deep ruddy brown with a cream colored head. The nose is beautiful, with raisins, brown sugar, caramel. The flavor is on the fruity side, with plum and dried fruits, along with a bit of toffee and brown sugar. Quite a creamy mouthfeel. Very nice.

33 cl. Nearly opaque mahogany with ruby highlights and a two-finger lasting head. Aroma is earth-spiced raisin-date bread, molasses, and caramel icing. Flavor is similar to the aroma, with a finish of slight sour cherry, cumin, and brown sugar. Medium body is smooth, acidic-tingly, and finishes dryish. Excellent dessert beer.

33 cl bottle at Dalane Brygghus, Egersund, Norway. Dark brown color, moderate off-white/beige head. Aroma is sweet, with a bit yeast/sourness. Flavor is sweet malt, dark fruit, hints of yeast and hops, nice sourness. I like this one!

Brown ruby color with thin layer of brown head. Fainty bready aroma. Immediate sweet maltiness with hints of honey. Extremely smooth and mellow.
