Petrus Herfstbock

Had it in october from tap. Didn’t know if this was a seperate beer or not. Amber color. Butterscotch flavor with some hops shimmering through. Light but pleasant hop and malt aroma. Good balance.

On tap, UDRBG. Aroma is more hoppy, slightly malty. Hazy golden coloured with a thin white head. Taste is sweet, bit hoppy, bit fruity, even some floral notes. Not really an autumn style bock. More like a summer beer.

On tap, UDRBG. Aroma is very faint. Some malts but that’s it. Golden color, light hazy, white head, good lace. Light sweet, light malty, a bit fruitiness but overall very plain. Why make a bock like this? It reminded me more of a fruity thin lager.
