Acidic, malty nose with wood, dried fruit and prunes. Sourish, malty, slightly vinous taste with notes of dried fruit, raisins and prunes, hints of dark bread. Low bitterness, medium body, some remaining sweetness. A decent, well balanced flemish sour ale, but doesn’t reach the levels of Verhaeghe and Rodenbach. mjs (1557), Helsinki, Finland

| 1.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 1/10 | 2/5 | 7/20 | May 12, 2008 Bottle from Matt7215! I guess I am not fair to sours... But the smell reminds me of that cheap champagne they hand out at weddings. Light brown in color, ok head. The taste isnt that bad. They just have to much carbonation. I probably should of not rated this beer since I know I wasnt going to like it but Matt sent it to me. Thanks matt! Maybe one day my taste buds will grow to like sours but until that day comes, I have to pass on them.
