Bottle. Pours dark red/brown with an off white head. Aroma is tart fruit. Medium body. Flavor is very well balanced with tart cherry and light caramel notes. Quite drinkable.

Pours deep brown with hints of amber. Head disapears as I pour this brew into my trappist glass. Aroma: dark malts, wood, vinegar. Mouthfeel is watery. Woody flavor with sour lemon notes that get you right on the sides of your mouth. I like this brew, I only wish it was meatier. Maybe slightly underrated at 76%

Bottle from jrob_21, thanks! Slight sour cherry aroma with muddy brown malt, sour woody notes with light oak. Deep ruby pour looks brown and supports a beige head. Taste is thin, cherry with that darkish malt and very slight sour tones from the wood, which is all the aftertaste gives up. Thin body and crisp beginning, creamy middle, dry end. Smooth! Just a touch of vinegar with some lemon. Light sweetness. Good balance and reasonably clean. Not terribly assertive, but a nice little summer sour.

Pours dark amber with mahogany hues. A beige head of a half-inch sunk to a full coverage skim-coat. Decent lacework throughout the glass. Aromatics are vineous and meaty, with wine-soaked raisins and turned earth. Not a whole lot of presense in the nose however. Lacking intensity and depth. Creamy, velvety mouthfeel. Rich and soft. The pallet starts off with a hint of tart vineousity, ripe fruit, juicy malt, and an earthy woodiness. Hints of figs, worstershire, and lemon follow through. Alcohol and bitterness are nill, and the beer finishes fairly quick. An easy drinker, but really too tame in character. The beer just needs a lot more of what it already has.

bottle. Pours amber with a tall head. The nose is definitely sour with plenty of vinegar hints, some muscadine, and a touch of metal. Mouth is a little thin. The sourness here is mild, but definitely present. Woody sweetness balances things out. Pretty straight-forward tart, woody brew. It could use a bit more assertive character, but it certainly isn’t bad.

Bottle. Thanks ChristianScheffel. Pours Amber/brown with a good creamy head & lacings. Aroma is sweet of sugar & caramel with a slight fruity sour twist. A bit watery palate. Some metallic notes. Average Sour!

Red brown with a small off-white head. Malt and molasses and fruit in the nose. Slightly tart and very dry.

Pours deep brown with a touch of ruddiness when held to light. Bubbly head that lingers for a few minutes. Nose is complex and slightly cherry like sour. Flavor is interesting, with a malty touch followed quickly by a subtle tart pinot grape like influence. A bit creamy on the palate.
