Pours out in a clear nut brown colour with with a rich lasting off-white foam. Sweetish aroma of wild raspberries, black cherries, caramelized almonds with a woody vinegary undertone. Fruity flavour leaning on the sweeter side of black cherries and black-currant with mild but still lasting acidic undertones. Long fruity and mild acidic finish of wood, brown sugar, over-riped cherries, almonds and immature raspberries. Not a great beer and a bit sweet but I dig this Sour Ale style. junon (222), Honolulu, Hawaii, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Mar 20, 2008 It poured like a cola. Aroma was interesting but any interest faded after tasting. Doesnt even taste like a beer. Tastes like an alcoholic cola. Im completely serious and had high hopes but I just cant believe something like this would come out of Belgium. I will chalk it up to a bad bottle and may try it again to re-rate. garthicus (1309), Toronto, Ontario, Canada
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Mar 19, 2008 Bottle LCBO - Pours an orange ruby coulor with a thick viscous off white head. Milky-natural yoghurt aroma with malt notes. Similar flavour, like drinking a watery carbonated natural yoghurt with some malty beer added. Suprisingly, it’s not too shabby, but nothing to write home about. johnadam2002 (529), Hainesport, New Jersey, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Mar 18, 2008 Poured brown with an off white head. Aroma of sour cherries. Flavor started off some sweet fruit, mostly cherries, and finished with a sweet oak texture. Different but nothing special. JB175 (1664), Bucks County, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Mar 16, 2008 Darker brown with a hint of red. Aroma has some light oak and sourness with a hint of cherries. Flavor is a rather subdued, tart, & woody mix of lighter malts. Starts bigger, but fades. Hints of dark fruit. Not bad, just a bit dull for a Flemish Sour. GRM (1279), Aylmer, Quebec, Canada

Deep reddy brown. Bready aroma, Anna detects sourness too. Watery, only an occasional sour taste. Much better after it warms, but still a bit disappointing.
