Bottle: Poured brown with a white thin head. The aroma was sweet malt and fruit of some type. The flavor was very complex it was sweet maly at first but quickly finished almost wine grape like.

Nose is sour and sharp in an arresting way. Pours deep, slightly muddy brown with no discernable lasting head. The flavour is complex and refreshing with notes of sherbet balanced by notes of honey: the whole sitting with some watermelon and a hint of kiwifruit. Starts odd, finishes very well indeed.

Bottle. Pours copper brown with a small, quickly diminishing beige head. Aroma is mild sour apple with some earthy notes. Flavor is initially tart and acidic with sweet caramel toffe notes coming in quickly before a lightly soured fruit finish. Very drinkable.

Bottle 33 cl. Average beige fizzy head that mostly diminished. Fair lacing. Sparkling mahogany color. Aroma was sweet grainy notes with some brown sugar, light yeast, prunes, light citrus, wood and unripe berries. Medium bodied with an average carbonation. Moderated sweet malty flavor with light sour notes.

Bottle at Dæmningen. Clear red/brown - light brown head. Aroma: The fluffy head smells like sour-tuborg-hops !! But after that comes bikeglue and light wood. Taste: Red berries, light sour, light wood, malty, light rubber - bikegluem lbalsamic vinegar, acid. Too light in all asbects.

Bottle. Pours dark brown with amber highlights. Quite dry on the nose. Sour. Yeasty. Oak. Hint of sour cherry. Fizzy carbonation and a tad thin on the palate. Quite dry flavor profile. Just a tad sour and yeasty. Not nearly as complex and as rich as I like my sours. Fairly one dimensional.

The aroma is sour with sweet dark malts, fruit, and yeast. The appearance is brown with a small but persistent head. The malt character in this one is more pronounced than in the aged pale. But, it is still a sour beer and not totally to my liking. The palate is a little thin on this one. Overall all I can say is that it’s an improvement over the aged pale.
