Bottle. Dark brown. Orange flavors, with nice lacing on the head. Sweet, with a good roasted malt flavor. Very sour as well with a blast of cherries. Finish is slightly bitter.

Bottle poured very dark burgundy brown, even orange tones, with semi-sustained 1/4 inch beige head. light lacing. Nose of sweet fruits with hint of toasted malts and slight yeast. The flavor is very sweet and sour, cherries. Pretty good but tends to thin out in the end.

Bottle. Poured a dark brown body with massive head and long legs that didn’t quit. Aroma is of oak, malt, and slight sourness. Taste is very similar to the above - slightly sour with a cherry sweetness. More sourness comes out near the end. Slightly bitter.

A little sweet and I would rather have a Duchess any day over this. Fruity and a nice example of an Flemish Sour Ale. Page 362 of Michael Jackson’s Great Beer Guide and only 297 of his Classic 500 Brews to go.

Sampled bottle with stegosaurus. Pours a dark brown color with a little head. Aroma of sour cherries with a woody tinge. Flavor is intially sweet and finishes sour. Not bad for a flemish sour

Bottle sampled with Beerded_one. Pours deep dark bronze with a two finger thick tan fluffy head. Aroma of fruit, some sour notes, and slight oak presence. The flavor starts sweet, fruity oak, then finishes with a mild sour ending. Good brew.

rbesg06, bottle at delirium. rich ruby red colour with a steady off-white head. full aroma of floorboards, fruit and funk. some light raspberry sweetness and oak and then a pleasant amount of sourness. flemish sour must be pretty close to my favourite style and this was a good example

This one certainly looks good - dark red-brown with a lovely foamy head. I couldn’t make out much of a scent. Flavor was much like fizzy water. Palate is like a diet sprite. An overall disappointment.
