Snifter draft at Taco Mac in Chattanooga. Dark reddish brown color with moderate off-white head that diminished slowly. Complex citrus and spice aroma. Medium body with smooth texture. Same complex citrus and spice flavor with a moderate sweet finish. Interesting brew.

Beautiful brown ale with a thick and lasting off-white head. Aroma is slightly citrus with some oak in there as well. Nice woody flavor with a great citrus taste. Some nuts and berries as well. Very enjoyable beer.

Bottle. Pours a darker amber color. Nice off white head. Smells of citruis and bitterness with hints of malts. A slight spice to taste but mainly a citruis fruit taste with an acid taste.

Bottle. Dark red brown with an initially large head. Aromas are woody and malty with berries and palma violet sweets and of course some sourness. More sourness comes through in the flavour. Cherries and berries are the fruit present along with some mustiness and more floral hops lingering. The finish is sour and fruity. Very good.

Smell was muted. Some vague sourness and tartness, but really not much of that or anything else. Brown color with a lazy thin head. Watery with a mild sourness. but there is something in the background a kind of bready and sweet flavor that is compelling. Not overly impressed all in all.

Dark ruby to amber coloured, lacing, firm brownish head, lively carbonation; fruity, sourish, "barrique" nose, some traces of caramel and malts; fresh, fruity, sweet(caramel)-sour taste; short, a bit adstringent and slightly bitter aftertaste; very refreshing - very pleasant !

Very dark brown colour with a light brown head. The aroma is sour, the taste sour and fruity. This is a very quenching beer. (Bottle 25cl)
