Apr 8, 2005 Pours brown with a medium tan head that stays. Aroma is red fruit, wood, a slight sourness, and a nice rich maltiness. Flavor is mildly tart with dark fruits and wood. The finish is a little bit watery but all and all this is a tasty beer.

Apr 4, 2005 bottle. Nice aroma of fruit and yeast, really nice citrus effect on the palate. sour taste with a medium malt body and hints of yeast. really good...too bad the bottle is so small.

Apr 1, 2005 Updated: Jul 6, 2005This could easily be my favorite SESSION brew if it didn’t cost so much per bottle. Pouring a cloudy brown with a spritzy tan head, this has a mild sour malt aroma. Very soft yet lively in the mouth, it’s got a gentle toffee flavor coupled with juicy dark druits (plums, grapes) and sweet spices. Mar 18, 2005 Bottled. Brown color with reddish hues. No head. Surprisingly sour aroma. Malty and tart, raisins and prunes. Vanilla notes. Very "sour-brown" like. Very enjoyable.

Mar 17, 2005 Ruby in color with a small white head. Aroma if of light caramel,musty,light alcohol,dark fruit,rasin,plum,grape. Starts sweet,palate is slick and finishes moderately acidic and astringent.

Mar 13, 2005 Bottle, Criterion, Leicester Crawl Jan 2005. Amber chestnut, good beige head and moderate condition. Pleasant tinny caramel and funky farmyard notes in the nose, sweet caramel in the mouth and more funky lambic type notes in the finish.

Mar 8, 2005 I love the Flemish browns. Very refreshing style. Lactic and sour nose with good hints of spice and malt. Nice persistent head with good gas release . Hosrse blanket and citrus acidity.
