Golden, copper with a nice head. The aroma is malty with notes of fruit and spice. The flavour is slightly sweet with notes of caramel, fruit/citrus and spice - OK, but....

Bottle: Golden in color, very slight haze, HUGE pillowy white head, sticky lacing, strong carbonation.   Musty barn and barrel on the nose.   It seems like very old wood, very musty and basement like.   Not sure how to classify this one.   Not very dry nor tart, it seems like an aged Belgian Pale Ale or something   Finish holds a little plastic like aftertaste.   Dull and fairly boring.   Hard to determine what this is supposed to be.   My least liked Petrus to date.

11.3 oz bottle. Purchased in 6 pack with other Petrus beers. Nice hazy orange body with a small white head. Winterish spices. I actually thought it was decent, and while not necessiarly something I would think about purchasing if I had other options, it wasn’t bad.

11.3 ounce bottle purchased in that same 6 pack at the Stockton, CA BevMo for $11. Lightly sweet, caramelly initally aroma, which becomes a bit sour, funky, and acetic with some fruity notes. Light yeast esters are also there. Lightly hazy orange body with a smallish off-white head. Very carbonated body with some grainy flavors present to start. Some light coriander is also tasted. There seems to be some wheat in this. Lightly sweet, orangey flavors in the middle. Finishes mellow and rather sweet. Pretty straightforward and unimaginative

A little sweet and fruity and hoppy. Page 263 of Michael Jackson’s Great Beer Guide and only 292 of his 500 Classic Brews to go.

Yeasty, malty aroma. Hint of candy. Hazy, firm golden color. Firm white head. A bit thin, a bit of pilsener flavor. Second thought: it really seems like a pilsener. Good balance of malt and hop. But why? Seems to be a bit of a perversion on an unsuspecting top fermenting yeast body. Well, the hop comes more florally alive in finish. Still, it was one of the stranger starts I’ve experienced. Give it time, and it improves. Thin, but lively.

I was really into this beer. Poured a hazey golden color that for some reason, when I held it to the light ....reminded me of the sun.....(not smoking anything). Nose of peaches, and various other fruits.

11.2 oz bottle - murky, dark orange pour with a thin white head. Aroma is vineragy at first but mellows to a faint spicy concoction. Flavor has some stale bread notes, some buttery accents and some Christmas spices in the back end. Tart mouthfeel with a bit of carbonation. Overall, a bit below par for a Belgian - something seems to be missing. Thanks to Aurelius for this one.
