| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jan 13, 2007 Pours a cloudy amber and has a rocky head that diminished fairly quickly. Smells of sour cherries and apples. Crisp and bubbly but with a poor finish and too tart for style. Has the characteristic sour aroma off al petrus beers. badgerben (3610), Blaine, Minnesota, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Jan 6, 2007 Copperish color with a medium head. Strong aroma of light barley, if that makes sense. A little fruity. Dirty hop mixture in the taste, which seems to lend an almost metalic taste. Grainy. Kind of like a darker version of a Helles. Skinnyviking (4189), Copenhagen, Denmark
| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Nov 18, 2006 Bottle. Off-white creamy high and lasting head. Hazy golden body. Pleasant barley malt aroma. Acidic almost sour grape fruit flavor. Its a wonder to me that others describe it as sweet. Tmoney99 (4795), Cincinnati, Ohio, USA

| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 13/20 | Sep 17, 2006 Updated: Nov 13, 2007Draught from Beer Weekend Brussels. Clear pale golden in colour with creamy white head. Orange and vanilla in the nose with hoppy notes. A bitter start leads into a spicy warmth with citrus and hops to compliment. All is well and then disaster - a suprisingly watery finish - equal to that of melted ice at the bottom of your ice tea. Terrible. A result of the cask maybe? A real let down. (6, 3, 5, 2, 14) Re-rate Bottle from Nelson Wines. I knew there were a couple Petrus I hadn’t had but managed to pick one I had, D’oh! Oh well, a re-rate’s not always a bad thing. Golden, bordering on amber, with a fluffy but quickly dissapating white head. Nice lace though. Nose is malt, barley, orange, yeast and hops. Orangey hops washed over by a malty, bready flavour. Some subtle, sweet caramel notes in the finish. Well, as I said re-rate’s aren’t always a bad thing but in this case I’m actually taking it down a peg or two... heemer77 (4312), Savannah, Missouri, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Sep 9, 2006 The body is a light bronze orange with a slight off white head. The aroma is herbal with some medicinal notes. There is also a hint of dried apricots. The taste has some dry notes of hay with some dense herb like oregeno. There is also a little bit of prunes in the finish. An overall dry beer with the interesting herbal notes. Very thick and heavy in the mouthfeel.
