Sweet, caramel malt and Belgian candi sugar aroma. Butterscotch and floral hop effervescence. Moderately creamy palate with a heavy, malt thickness. Spicy, hop cones shine as the liquid warms, along with a stony limestone sourness and a earthy bitterness. Very tasty and drinkable. Poured a medium hazy orange color with a large amount of fizzy white head. Aroma is fruity, a tad tart and malty. Flavor is mostly sweet malts with a yucky yeast bitter sour finish. Overall, not a fan. JonMoore (1562), Loughborough, Leicestershire, England

Aroma of fruit, yeast and floral hops. Malty taste with yeast and dry hops. Light bodied and quite highly carbonated with a bitter finish. Not bad. kramer (2527), Sunbury, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jan 12, 2006 11.2 oz bottle. Pours a clear gold color with a finger sized fizzy white head that faded to a thin film quickly. Fruity and slightly tart aroma with some drying yeast character. Very dry with a light malty base. Lightly hoppy and crisp finish. Light bodied and fizzy on the tongue. Pretty unimpressive overall, but no major faults. Your basic entry level Belgian Ale. turg (156), Quebec, Canada

| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Dec 24, 2005 Yeast bread and grain aroma to this one. Clear golden body with a big white foamy head. Seeing it’s close to Christmas the carbination bubbles remined me a snow globe. Some lacing left on glabut not till half the glass was gone. Mellow flavor of lemon citrus and very enjyable beer. beerguy101 (3972), Newark, California, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Dec 21, 2005 This ale pours a yellow gold color from a 300ml bottle. Large sized, long lasting, white foamy head. Aroma is hoppy, floral, citrusy and grainy. A medium bodied Belgian Ale. Malts are fruity and sweet. Hops are citrusy and somewhat bitter. This is kind of a strange beer, its part Belgian and part Lager. Yeasty, hoppy and crisp tasting, its just a weird juxtaposition of flavors. Clean and crisp. Lots of grain flavors. Sort of a Pale Lagers goes Belgian. Its weird, but I sort of like it. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is dry and crisp. Aftertaste is bitter. blankboy (3261), Toronto, Ontario, Canada
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Dec 19, 2005 Bottle. Pours a clear bubbly amber with a large lasting rocky white head. Mild aroma of yeast, malt and floral hops. Flavour is simple but tasty: starts with malt, then honey and ends with some floral hops bitterness. Light bodied. Nothing special but it’s not bad.
