Somewhat grassy and paper influenced nose. Almost PVC influenced on the beginning palate that doe not get anybetter. Finishes with an astringent bitterness.

This beer looked dull and unexciting. Amber with no life, no head, decent aroma, some hops, some caramel, some sugar, flavor unexciting, semi sweet, watery, light hop bitterness, nothing really jumping out at me. Not great.

Mildly grainy aroma with some flowery hops and a touch of butterscotch and caramel. Clear light copper coloured body with shy, white head that diminishes to thin, partial cover. Very subdued flavour has some graininess and a fairly metallic finish. Medium-light body has a watery texture. Carbonation is strong on the tongue. Bottle.

Head is initially large, frothy, white, mostly lasting. Body is dark yellow. Aroma is moderately malty (grain), lightly hoppy (flowers). Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly acidic, lightly bitter. Finish is lightly sweet, lightly acidic, moderately bitter, husky. Medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation. Egad...I’m not a fan of Bavik, and this is a great example of why not.

Nice and lively orange-amberbeer with a pale-beige fluffy head. The smell is earthy-fruity with a nice touch of malts and coriander. The taste is on the dry side with a faint soury accent and with a hoppy afthertaste.

Decent off white head sits on top of a brownish coloured body. Medium carbonation. Aroma is slight sour, mild coffee beans for some reasons, mild malt, wood. Taste is sour, with spices and hints of belgian ale qualities, but seems to be lacking something. ANyway, not bad.

Clear orangey amber with a quickly dissipating head that leaves some lace. Spicy and sour aroma with some cherry, floral hops, malt. Bland flavour for such an inviting aroma: malty with a faint sourness and some alcohol flavour--a bit solventy--ending with a bitter bite. Also chamomile notes and a bit buttery. Lots of carbonation, light body and a bit mouth coating. This beer grew on me--I’m going to have another one right now.

96 version. Pours golden-orange with no head. Aroma is malty and somewhat yeasty. Flavor has no mouthfeel, flat and lifeless. Flavor is figs, honey and citrusy.
