| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Aug 30, 2007 Pours a dark amber with a little cloudyness from the sediment. The aroma is somewhat fruity with notes of yeast. A slightly metalic flavour, not particularly powerful, but not unpleasant. Some nice malty notes to finish. Not bad, by any means, but tastes like the weaker brother of many superior Belgian beers I’ve had. SilkTork (4173), Rochester, Kent, England

Lively carbonation - metallic and blood notes - modest caramel flavour - modest, soft flowery hops. Yeast notes. It’s drinkable stuff, but not interesting, and it lacks pleasure and flavour. An okay beer and better than expected after some rumours. Notes of fruit, yeast, some grapecitrus and weak spices. A sessionbeer! crazyvin (1254), New York, USA
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Aug 6, 2007 Didn’t really enjoy this one. It poured a nice amber color with a great head, about 1.5 inches thick initially. It shrunk to a thin coating and remained trough out. Aroma was a mix of fruits and malts, some yeast and earthy grass notes. Flavor was a big disappointment. It seemed to be all fruits. Mostly cirtus fruits with a slight grass note. pretty bland. | 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jul 26, 2007 Bottle. Pours hazy orange/amber with a large beige head. Aroma is promising, with some tart notes, citrus, and a touch of hops. Flavor is sweetly malty, with only a very mild sourness. Mouthfeel is medium carbonation, with a bit of a drying finish. Quite plain actually. ALLOVATE (1126), Perth, Australia
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Jul 14, 2007 With yeast in it poured an opaque, dull, orangey gold with a big bubbly, whipped cream head that is held in place by some very tight, fine carbonation. The aroma is of gooey caramel lathered in fresh squeezed orange juice. A little oxidation evident in the taste like sapping your own blood - distant, but there. Fizzy tickle on the tongue, it bounces well but becomes creamy in back with the body growing as the beer heats up. Toasted malt mainly, a touch of ’Munich’, with a little breath of fresh citrus making it just a little tangy and maybe a smidgen of shy, dusty hops wander in late into drinking. All malt in the swallow, a little buttery with caramel, again, lingering. Not much to it, quite pleasant overall and easy enough on the palate to be sessionable, but there is nothing here too loud or proud to make a lasting impression on me. (33cL, Int’l Beer Shop, W.
