Bottled @ Belgian Beer Cafe, Rio de Janeiro. A golden orange beer with a huge white head. Aroma is very yeasty and slightly floral. Taste is also spicy, fruity and malty. Alcoholic and spicy end.

Bottle. Labeled “Petrus Gouden Tripel”. Huge fizzy white head that mostly lasted. Tiny drops of yeast could be seen in the foam. Hazy orange / golden color. Good display of lacework. Aroma of spice, coriander, light malty notes, citrus, fruit and very yeast like feel in the overall appearance. Medium bodied with a hint of dry texture and an almost lively carbonation. Moderated sweet flavor with light notes of acidic and bitterness. Light sweet and spicy like finish.

Bottle: Hazy orange, fairly carbonated, light white head. Nose of pear, citrus, dry wheat and yeast. Nice malty flavor, chewy, but not cohesive for a triple. Medium body, lacking acidity. Thin approachable belgian, but not what a triple should be.

poured a cloudy golden hue with a thick white head. Aroma was mainly fruity, bananas mostly, some spicy notes. Flavor was fruity too, rather similar to the aroma. A good effort, just not interesting.

(Stockholm Beer Festival 2007) Bottle. Hazy yellow color, no head. Quite mild sourish and citric aroma. Fruity flavor, citrus and some bready, yeasty notes.

Lightly cloudy straw blond beer with a light foamy head. Aroma is very fresh with some fruity notes. Flavour is an excellent balance of fresh and dry. Very easy to drink and well worth repeating.

Pours a cloudy gold with a huge white head. Nose is slightly hoppy with a lemon zest edge. Flavor is almost slightly bitter though very consistent. Feel has a thicker carbonation to it. It’s pretty drinkable due to it’s smooth and even taste, though because it doesn’t stand out and is calm in the flavor department, I have to lower the score for that one.

Bottle. Pours cloudy bright gold with a big white head. Aroma of fruit, sweet malt and some spices. Much the same for the flavor. Medium bodied with lively carbonation. Unspectacular.
