7.5% 33cl bottle bought in Belgium. Huge head; creamy and spongy. Golden colour, clear at the bottom; gradually turns opaque towards the top. Fizzy with a generous center column. Dry, very fresh citric smell and hay smell with a hint of alcohol. Taste is watery bitter sour. Not sweet at all. The dryness is also al over the palate. There is hints of spices. Mainly salty freshness. Overall rather unsurprising but none the worse for it: this is what a tripel should taste like.

From a bottle from Bottleworks, Seattle. Clear as straw, bubbly with a white constellation head. Clarity more pilsner-esque than like a triple. Electric stream of bubbles. Despite this appearance, carbonation was well-balanced. Dry and bitter midway through. A little bite at the end.

Bottle: Poured a hazy golden color with white foamy head. The aroma is spicy and metallic fruit. The taste is a blast of copper pennies to the mouth and finished very metal hoppy flavored.

Expensive, strong hazy ale from a decorative 8.4 oz bottle. This triple is, I’m sure exactly as it suppoed to be, frutiy, complex, and dry but it’s just not worth the price. I"ll never get tired of reading other reviewers. The last one writes, "dry, thin, metalic aftertaste. very nice." Incongruous but descriptive and accurate. It’s just not what I want in a beer, reguardless of how many experts tell me how good it is.

Big coarse white head. Yellow body with strong carbonation. Strong ripe fruit aroma with a hoppy soft metallic and spicy background. Dry fruity taste with spicy, peppery notes and again the softly metallic hops. Sharp, peppery, almost hot mouthfeel. Dry, thin mealy metallic aftertaste. Very nice. (0.33l bottle from Dorstvlegel, Antwerp.)

Bottle. Hazy yellow, lowish head. Honey, apple, citrus aroma. The fruit notes go again in the flavor, relatively light body - might be the high level of carbonation. Ends on a apricot and mango note. Clay retronasal.
