Jul 8, 2007 Bottle. Hazy yellow, lowish head. Honey, apple, citrus aroma. The fruit notes go again in the flavor, relatively light body - might be the high level of carbonation. Ends on a apricot and mango note. Clay retronasal.

Jul 6, 2007 quite the complex tripel. Lots of flavours here, citrus, orange, lemon, ripe fruit, figs, and plums, and some yeast, and bread. wow. impressive for a 7.5%, nice finish, kinda dry. good beer!

Jul 4, 2007 I love Belgian beers! This one hurt me. If left a lot to be desired in all aspects. This was not a typical Belgian. It bordered on mediocre. I won’t do this one again.

Taste: High honey, apples, sour apples, light flowery, light elderflowers,

Far too much honey sweetness.

May 28, 2007 Bottle, 11.2 oz, says Gouden tripel; Nose is yeast, fruitiness, spices, with a tart note; hazy urine yellow with a huge glass lacing off white head; flavor with tart fruitiness, spices, and a little funkiness. Not nearly a great tripel! And I have 4 other Petrus brews waiting to rate, hope they are better!
