Superb hangtime with a lasting full lace. Aroma is slightly sour and citrusy. Light to medium nectar w/ ample residul effers. Flavors are mild for a Tripel w/ peach pit, lemon rind, and slight banana. Steely and mildly souring bitter on the finish. Makes the back sides of my tounge tingle. Overall: as with the Petrus line, the flavors are mild. A decent brew. bluevegie (2217), Perth, Australia
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Jun 10, 2006 Slightly hazy, pale golden body with a farily average white head. Interesting nose - sweet, yeast and apricot. Smooth mouthfeel, not as sweet as I was expecting, some lemon, rockmelon and the alcohol was well hidden.Very easy to drink though I thought it was a bit thin in the body. bask (305), Leuven, Belgium

Herbs, spices, sugar, flowers, some orange aroma. Strong citric hoppy flavour, spicy, dry. Long hoppy finish. Bart (1662), Brussels, Belgium
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jun 3, 2006 Clear gold blond coloured, light carbonation, with a large white head. No yeast on the bottom. Fresh fruity and malty-hoppy aroma. Very enjoyable, somewhat sweeter with a light alcoholic nose. Full body, some sprankling. Finish is more bitter, little dry near the end with a distinctif alcoholical touch. A nice and heavy-feeling beer. GG (1658), NorCal, California, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | May 22, 2006 2nd time with Petrus and it didn’t fail to deliver. Bright yellow color on the body, tons of carbonation (but not harsh on the palate). Aroma of bubblegum, fruity esters, slightly sour/tart. Flavors were also the same but danced on the tongue. Another excellent beer from Petrus. rederic (1815), montréal, Quebec, Canada
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | May 18, 2006 Hazy yellow hue, with a rocky white head, yeasty, sweet citrus fruits note, floral hops accent, pale malt aroma follows through on a medium-bodied palate with a yeasty zesty sweet lemon fruitiness, hint of spiciness, nice floral hops and herbal character, leading towards a dry leafy bitter finish. Lacy smooth maltiness. Sweet but a little boring. A distant tang of metal. Silky mouthfeel. But essentially just a really dangerous lager.
(Re-rate, 08/03/08. Previously 5/3/5/3/11)
750ml bottle. Pale, spritzy and faintly misty. Vinous w/w aroma suggesting grape, melon and yeasty fruit. A splash of Malheur. Wood and acid. Almost lambic tang, frut acids (apple, grape), but discreet and softened by sweet buttery vanilla cornflake afters like Rodenbach Vin De Cereale. Interesting.
