| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Apr 10, 2006 Bottle. Pours slightly cloudy light god with a large white head. Sweet alcohol, yeast, honey, and hay notes in the nose. Sweet, snappy flavor. Lots of lemon citrus, but rather than being sour, it’s very sweet, with a nice hoppy finish. Floral. I like this one. damienv10 (108), Chicago, Illinois, USA

Light nose of apricots and a hint of pine. Malty on the tongue, with apricots and lemon. Good crisp carbonation. A little hoppy on the finish. Good balance between malt and hops. Not a whole lot in between. walter (359), Staunton, Virginia, USA
| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Mar 27, 2006 Bottle. Bright gold color, very clear (yeast compacted solidly in bottle), with huge white head. Big nose of funky yeast, funky cheese, sour lemon citrus, vague herbal/flowery notes, metal, and sweet light malt. Flavor is nicely tangy and tart, focusing on a funky, biting yeast and mildly rotten citrus, though balanced throughout with a sweet maltiness and finishing somewhat sweet-sour. Very good stuff, but it promised a little more funkiness than it delivered. A treat, nonetheless. stegosaurus (1882), Levittown, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Mar 24, 2006 Pours hazy golden with a large billowing fluffy white head. Aroma of citrus, sweet malts, belgian style spices, and yeast. Flavor is smooth, sweet, spicey, yeasty, slight bitterness, and a little metallic finish. Not a bad brew, just nothing great. | 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 5/5 | 7/10 | 2/5 | 15/20 | Mar 17, 2006 Effervescent gold yellow body with an equal part liquid and foam that eventually tilts toward more liquid. A dazzling upwards cascade of sparkling bubbles in this. Tang of yeast hits my nose first. Wow, I have to say that playing a bit of Roy Orbison after a long day of work really works perfectly with this beer…….. in dreams I walk with you…… peppy lemon citrus strikes my tongue first. Then it dries out and a powdery earthy twang remains. ……oh blue angel have no fear…….. There is something like the feel a peppermint has on my tongue that I experience with this also. Nice dry finish.
