| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 8/20 | Jul 12, 2009 Bottled. Sparkling golden, huge fluffy white head. Nose is turpentine, dry maltiness, rubbery and acidic notes, hint of grain and alcohol. Flavor is more or less the same, terrible solvents, very dry, acidic pear, clear boozy alcohol, very faint herbs, slight table sugar and stodgy hops in the finish. Very strongly carbonated attacking mouthfeel, way too burp-a-licious. This brew has almost everything I hate in a tripel.

| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jul 8, 2009 Golden beer with huge white head. Aroma is surprisingly quite mild and there are malts, spicy, flowers and parfym. Flavour continues naturally and easily from the aroma and it changes quite hoppy and dry in the end. Very easily to drink and lot of carbonation even so strong alcohol per cent. Too compromised beer, for new beer hobbier/rater. Beerlando (2349), Orlando, Florida, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jun 29, 2009 Pours a hazy, dark golden color with turbulent effervescence that feeds a massive, steady head of taught beige foam. Sudsy lacing mostly recedes, a scant few broken lines remaining behind. The aroma shows overly ripe nectarines and day old apple cores, with funky, fermenting fruit notes lending tartness to the underlying, light candy sugar malt base. Flavors show more of the same, diluted candy sugar sweetness balanced with tart, acidic orchard fruit and long-aged, faded floral hops. Medium bodied, lively carbonated, and somewhat watery for a tripel, the palate leaves something to be desired. Overall, it is interesting, but the quality control just doesn’y seem to be there. Seems to be a common theme with this brewery, or at least the Petrus line. craftbeerdesign (761), Alpharetta, Georgia, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 17/20 | Jun 16, 2009 sample on 6/14/09. pours a deep hazy golden with a white head. nice and sour lemon aroma. med body with a good amount of carbonation. really heavy on the lemon / citrus notes versus the more spice character associated with most Belgian Tripels. very drinkable light Belgian Tripel with a nice big mouth feel. jtodd5dot1 (32), Marina, California, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Jun 16, 2009 Poured a golden almost lager yellow with nearly a full glass of foam that lasted quite awhile. Flavor was very full and almost fruity. Not really sure what, but some real style ans substance to it. Not just watery.
