| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Jun 10, 2004 Murky gold with orange hues. Head seemed to die rather quickly. Smells sweet like sugar-coated candy. Nice mouthfeel: dense carbonation with a somewhat malty backbone. Yeast actually contributes nicely to the flavor; earthy and chewy in a way. Some spicy notes here and there. A hint of bitterness too. jerc (3954), Toronto, Ontario, Canada

Hmmm... 1st bottle: lightly hazy yellow with a very nice billowy white head. Getting some really strange flavours out of this one. That don’t taste like the flavours that would indicate it is off but are not entirely pleasant. I have a second bottle so hopefully it will be more up to snuff. jeffin7 (610), Silver Spring, Maryland, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 17/20 | May 17, 2004 Pours a light gold with more head then beer. Aroma is of dough and citrus. Flavor is of dough, citrus, pepper, and a bit of raisin. Palate is creamy and body is medium yet it all adds up to a very easy drinking beer. A summer triple. bitter (1137), Henderson, Nevada, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 5/5 | 13/20 | Apr 20, 2004 bottled: a small 10oz? bottle thrown into the trappist glass. at first we had a nice head, but nothing like the beutiful head in the picture. then poof it was gone. golden yellow and hazy. not filling even half of the glass. the aroma was nice fruity and mellow hop character. the palate was very wheat concentrated with sweetness pushing through the top. at first the taste was really nice full complex and great, as the beer warmed and my palate changed, the beer got a little too sweet for me. couldnt imagine drinking more then one. maybe thats why the bottle is so small. through and through a solid brew. these rates seem somewhat low to me low. heemer77 (4311), Savannah, Missouri, USA

Aroma had pear, apple, grass and a sour note. The taste was mostly Granny Smith apple and was somewhat dry. There was a wheat background. IslandHaole (1035), Onna-Son, Okinawa-Ken, Japan
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Apr 13, 2004 A clear light to medium golden color, small white head, decent lacing. Sweet with hay and citrus and spice, but not one that jumps out at you, subtle. The alcohol is noticeable, it isn't sharp but adds just another layer of flavor to this nice laid back Triple.
