Pale yellow straw colour with huge white head. This is a bitter yet fruity citric beer, with a sharp intensity. Plenty of nasal alcohol available. Long bitter chalky finish.

I was kind of disappointed by this beer, other Belgian ales have impressed me much more. This lacked that particular ambience that makes Belgian ales so great. I think this bottle may have been a little long on the shelf.

Light gold in colour. Smells of lemon, orange and yeast. A huge head! The citrus flavors continue with elments of minerals, and butter mixed in. It's warming, but has no distinct alcohol flavor.

Aroma of dried fruit. Looks like pineapple juice. Slightly tart triple. Me like.

Bottle, BBE 17/8/2008 Sparkling, blond body. Frothy, white head, which is fairly lacing and mostly lasting. Hoppy (citrus) aroma. Spicy and hoppy flavour. Bitter, sweet initial flavour, quite dominated by the alcoholic flavours. Bitter-sweet finish, alcoholic mouthfeel.

Hazy golden color, big, foamy head. Mild, buttery aroma. Sour, flowery flavor. Malty, with no hops to speak of. Sour, carbonated palate. Not bad, but not my style.

Poured a pale yellowish brew with a nice head with good retention. Good carbonation with hoppy aroma. Taste is sweet with subtle alcohol. Overall, this is a good beer but not as good as the Westmalle Triple or Fin du Monde.

Pale and sweet malts with some citrus in the aroma. Taste is sweet not too cloying. Flavor of apricots and peaches. Not the same big head thats in the picture, but highly carbonated.
