Jan 13, 2004 Marshmallowy head. Sweet fruity aroma. Deep yellow and cloudy in appearance. Floral hoppy flavour with bitter aftertaste. Not as spicy as I expected, only mild herb undertones. Pleasant surprise.

Jan 9, 2004 A huge and creamy head floats overs that cloudy yellow beer. Aroma of banana and honey. Taste is fruity and somewhat sweet and yeasty. Some hoppy bitterness comes in conclusion. A pleasant beer.

Dec 28, 2003 Pale clouded amber appearance, moderate head formation. Sweet and spicy, sage, fruit and bready aroma. Initial spiciness turns turns to a light orangey middle with dry herbs (parsley, sage?) coming in towards the finish. Stays sweet and agreeable on the palate with very little bitterness.

Dec 23, 2003 Pale golden, big fluffy white head. Thick white lace. A rather sweet aroma, some hints of yeast. strong yeast flavour, slightly hoppy. Quite nice.

Dec 8, 2003 Floral and fruity, sweet nose. More a blond/lente bock style. Pale golden coloured, with a nice lacing. Taste is sweet and fruity, some spices/herbs. Quite bitter and more hops in the end. Nice brew.

Dec 7, 2003 Tasted in Toronto from LCBO. Tasted in Raftman Tulip glass. Slightly cloudy, golden appearance. Massive white head (as large as in the picture of the product on ratebeer). Laces the glass very well. Fruity nose, with a slightly floral bitter finish. Taste is more muted than the aroma. Very little sweetness or bitterness. relatively plain tasting and average.

Nov 29, 2003 nice head on this puppy: it was like a form-fitting insert of blonde foam rubber inside the glass. from that frenetically bubbly mass a slightly clouded raincoat yellow beer slowly permutated-- until only some big fish-eye bubbles remained, bobbing amongst the creamy edges. yeasty dry cider aroma, lumber, slightly sticky white wine oak casks. the clean smell of alcohol scrubbed grass. 7-up citrus flavor and nearly champagne carbonation; lemon cream pie without the sugar, dry lawn sod grass, fairly acidic, mild bitterness like sucking on a 16 penny nail. not bad, but it can claim little of the charming eloquence of a westmalle triple.
