| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Nov 29, 2003 nice head on this puppy: it was like a form-fitting insert of blonde foam rubber inside the glass. from that frenetically bubbly mass a slightly clouded raincoat yellow beer slowly permutated-- until only some big fish-eye bubbles remained, bobbing amongst the creamy edges. yeasty dry cider aroma, lumber, slightly sticky white wine oak casks. the clean smell of alcohol scrubbed grass. 7-up citrus flavor and nearly champagne carbonation; lemon cream pie without the sugar, dry lawn sod grass, fairly acidic, mild bitterness like sucking on a 16 penny nail. not bad, but it can claim little of the charming eloquence of a westmalle triple.
