Brewery glassware, tap (Sharp Edge, Pittsburgh). Slightly sour aroma of yeast, navel orange, some tangerine. Thick white head, lasts forever. Tastes of citrus and iron, some boozy character, but the iron is overwhelming. Clingy aftertaste of booze...decent triple, but there are better out there.

Pours a yellow gold color with a very thick and foamy head. Aroma of citrus hops. Taste is smooth, some citrus bitterness, not too sweet, with a highly carbonated finish. Very good tripel overall, I also like the lower ABV.

Bottle. Hazy golden pour. Frothy whte head. Aroma hits with spce, oranges, yeast and smells sweet. Flavor is sweet with a slight hint of yeast and spice. Not bad. Not bad at all.

Bottled. A little cloudy Golden Orange color, with a nice foam. Aroma is weak with notes orange. Flavor is citrus with notes of orange and malt. High carbonation! Mouthfeel is dry and short.

A light spicy aroma. A full beautiful head. Not a lot of spice to it, but an incredible smoothness that I am really enjoying. Fantastic.

330ml bottle bought at Luvians in St Andrews when I could not find more Scottish beers to drink. Very lively when open – only half of the content found its way to the glass. When it finally settled the body colour could be described as hazy golden with a thin, white head. Aroma of spicy malts and late fruits. Tangerine fruits in flavour, joined by yeasty hops and liquorice sweetness. Medium bodied. Sweet, bit still decent drinkability [09.11.2008].

200% foam. golden color with a massive white head. Extreme carbonation. Fruity and bitter aroma. Good hop flavor and typical belgian scents mixed in. Slightly metallic finish.

From a 750 ml bottle this poured a slightly hazy gold color with a huge white head and very pronounced lacing rings. Nose was ripe fruit like pears and apple. Medium mouthfeel. Flavor is fruit like the nose with some plums to go with the pears and apple. Finish is somewhat dry. Nothing fancy, but quite drinkable.
