bottle, bright golden color with fluffy head, weak aromas, flavor is mild and fruity with a thin bodied finish, it looked better than it tasted

33cl, from De Hopduvel Gent, not complex brew, not balanced, hazy, good head, nothing special, needs to be revised

(Bottle). Mild fruity aroma. Pale golden with enormous white head. Very gentle fruit flavor, quite underwhelming. Pretty undistinguished.

11.2 oz. bottle poured into trappist glass- poured transparent very slightly cloudy yellow with copper tint, foamy white head formed one finger thick, low carbonation. Aroma of yeast, pale fruit, and cedar. Hits the mouth with a low-medium body, malt is a little watery, aromas carry over to the taste to an extent but not fully, carbonation apparent on the tongue, finish has a pepper/plum note. I’ve had worse, but I’ve had better too.

(330 ml bottle from Bootleggers, labelled as "Gouden Triple", part of a Petrus sampler pack) Lively and tart...Pours quite cloudy sort of grayish amber. A finger or so of stout off-white head that recedes to a thin lasting layer. Aroma is sort of sweet and sour tangy, citrus-like and fruity. Mouthfeel is soft and quite smooth. Big well-defined weepy rings of lacing. Flavor is sort of the sweet and sour mix, probably more sweet. Citrus-like tartness and fruity notes. Some candy/caramel sweetness underneath. ABV pretty well-covered. A very decent tripel.

This is a rather boring tripel. It’s gold with a huge white head steadily shrinking and leaving little weak lace. The smell is ok, mostly white wine with some banana, pears and pine. The tatse is even less exciting, being very bland and simple, mostly just a dry, alcoholic, spritzy quality with the taste of old plums and weak white wine.

Poured pale cloudy yellow with an immense white head. Aroma - Very fruity with some yeast. Taste is sweet and fruity. Well carbonated. It starts out something like a sparkling apple juice. Some sourness as it warms. Decent.

Bottle... Poured a cloudy, vibrant orange with a huge, HUGE forming white head. Citrus fruit, hops and some esters on the nose. Medium body, a good carbonation but also a nice, thick consistency. Flavors of hops, a malty sweetness, and some yeasty, ester notes that give a nice dryness. Other fruity notes, like citrus and plum maybe. Not over-bearing with the sweetness, I think a lot of Tripels can be.
