IPFreely (1470), Niagara Falls, New York, USA Nov 20, 2004 Hazy straw color, white head, huge ugly bubbles. Spicy, a little yeasty and a little grainy. That grainy finish is not very pleasant, either. Medium bodied. I was not impressed.
rkuhnel (1199), Eureka, California, USA Dec 3, 2008 From a 750 ml bottle this poured a slightly hazy gold color with a huge white head and very pronounced lacing rings. Nose was ripe fruit like pears and apple. Medium mouthfeel. Flavor is fruit like the nose with some plums to go with the pears and apple. Finish is somewhat dry. Nothing fancy, but quite drinkable. blutt59 (954), Dallas, Texas, USA Nov 26, 2008 bottle, bright golden color with fluffy head, weak aromas, flavor is mild and fruity with a thin bodied finish, it looked better than it tasted BoBoChamp (804), Gent, Belgium Oct 19, 2008 33cl, from De Hopduvel Gent, not complex brew, not balanced, hazy, good head, nothing special, needs to be revised DrDavid (487), Johnson, Vermont, USA Oct 2, 2008 (Bottle). Mild fruity aroma. Pale golden with enormous white head. Very gentle fruit flavor, quite underwhelming. Pretty undistinguished. mmmbeer (603), Austin, Texas, USA Oct 1, 2008 11.2 oz. bottle poured into trappist glass- poured transparent very slightly cloudy yellow with copper tint, foamy white head formed one finger thick, low carbonation. Aroma of yeast, pale fruit, and cedar. Hits the mouth with a low-medium body, malt is a little watery, aromas carry over to the taste to an extent but not fully, carbonation apparent on the tongue, finish has a pepper/plum note. I’ve had worse, but I’ve had better too.
