Bottled - Criterion Leicester. An amber coloured beer with an off-white coloured head. The aroma is malty but fairly thin and non-descript. The taste is malty with hints of fruit. Highly carbonated and a bit boring. No Wintery connection either.

Bottle; Poured a reddish hazy brown amber wth a light brown head. The aroma was sweet caramel and roasted malt. The flavor was also sweet caramel with a dry tingly finish.

Bottle, "Petrus Winter, the key to heaven". Beautiful hazy dark amber colour with an average long lasting head. Aroma of caramel, slightly toasted malts and plenty of fruity hops. Flavour is little bit bitter with a nice sweetness, caramel, alc. and malts along a nice round touch of hops. A little chocolaty touch in the aftertaste. A very pleasant brew indeed!

Beige foamy full lasting head. Dark amber reddish colour. Aroma is moderately malty with yeast and slightly sour notes. Flavor is malty with light fruity (peach) tones, ending in a short balanced and slightly watery finish. Medium bodied.

Bottled. Ølbaren, Copenhagen. Dark amber colour, big head. Bit sourish in aroma, with vague caramel notes. Yeasty and caramelly, and sourness here as well. Big on the Co2.

Bottle, 33 cl. Dark red color with a beige head. Aroma fruity, malts yeasty. Better than the normal petrus. Medium bodied. Little sweet caramel taste, but good.

NorCal tasting Apr 07 - I think I’ve hit the low spot for Petrus. While normally I find their beers above average, this is just okay. A weak of aroma of metallic malts and yeast and good bit of iced tea thrown in. Flavors were malt astringent, with caramel and toffee smoothing things out to make it drinkable, but nothing near what it could be.
