Aroma and flavour both hold notes of sweet malt, caramel and spice (clove, cinnamon). Body is on the thin side. Alright, but I’d hoped for a little more character. Maria (6286), Thisted, Denmark
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 2/5 | 13/20 | Apr 1, 2007 Dark amber with a huge and creamy head. The aroma has notes of caramel and spice. The mouth feel is carbonated, and I don’t think it’s becoming in this beer. The flavour is slightly sweet with notes of caramel, clove, coriander and candy sugar, and the finish is dry/bitter. tomthompson89 (1489), Toronto, Ontario, Canada

| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Mar 2, 2007 11.2 oz bottle pours a dull yet clear hue of pure copper with huge tan head. The aroma has big English Noble hoppiness some soft spices and an unmistakable honey note. The flavor seems to center around honey and then there’s tart grapes, a dash of sweet malts and dark fruitiness rounding it out. After drinking my way about half way through I started to notice a semi sweet caramel flavor that added a really nice touch. ryan (1780), Beltsville, Maryland, USA
