The aroma is interesting with some funky hay and canned peahes. There is also a hint of cinnamon and some light tartness of very subtle balsamic vinegar. The mouthfeel is light and airy with the carbonation. The taste is canned peaches with some slightly spicy cinnamon in the finish. There is also a little bit of apple. A decent winter warmer that I like because it isn’t spiced too much. fluids (364), USA

Medium amber color. Nice yeast bread nose. Caramel initial flavor that turns bitter right at the tail. JoeMcPhee (5043), Jackson Heights, New York, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Nov 23, 2005 33 cl bottle. 7% ABV on my bottle. Deep orange-brown beer, nice clarity with a huge rocky yellow head. Great persistence on the head. Sweet malty aroma with the faintest wild, lactic hint. Some faint leathery notes, white grapes and a bit of dustiness. Nice yeasty flavour with light light spiciness, a bit of sweet breadiness and some dark plummy fruit. Peppery finish. Finishes fairly dry with a lingering fruity finish. Holdwine (909), Beertimore, Maryland, USA

Pricetag packs a bigger whallop than the taste! Expands with warming. Strong malty character after huge tannish head. Nice enough. MaiBockAddict (1499), Good Beer Bar Deprived, New Jersey, USA

| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Sep 18, 2005 A hazy orange-red beer with a nice light brown head. The aroma is quite light with some spicy notes of coriander and cloves besides hints of oranges. The flavor is sweet malty and quite spicy and fruity with notes of wood, oranges, cloves, coriander, as well as lingonberries. The spiciness gives it a dry end with a slight alcohol burn. leaparsons (4755), Leicester, Leicestershire, England
