Very cheap taste for a belgian. Just plain bland. Stinks when a beer looks good and then it is all downhill. r464 (287), Allentown, Pennsylvania, USA

| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Dec 24, 2004 A pretty boring ale. No bitterness. A bit sour but not in a very pleasant way. Metallic and a bit acidic. jgb9348 (2515), Arlington (Pentagon City), Virginia, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Dec 24, 2004 Crystal clear amber coloured body with a thin off-white head. Aroma of light malt, cardboard, old low a.a. hops and a small amount of toffee. Medium-bodied; Astringent malt taste with minimal spices & sugars. Aftertaste shows a light finish with hardly any alcohol, malt or sugars showing through. Overall, nice to try, but not a great seasonal when you compare it with others. I sampled this 33 cL bottle purchased at Chevy Chase Wine & Liquors in Washington, D.C. on 24-December-2004. dberger624 (1028), Phila, Pennsylvania, USA
