Cloudy orange, big white head. Faint fruity or winey aroma. Kinda reminds me of 7up, actually. Flavor is cherry at first, with a nice cerary note. A little bit woody at the finish. Pretty enjoyable, actually.

Smells a little sour. Looks good. This has a surprising sour flavor to it. A nice sour coat finishes it off as well. Different for a winter ale but pretty good.

Bottle. Dark amber color. A big head. Good malt, with really great hops as well. Very spicy, with caramel flavor and a strong cherry taste. A fantastic Belgian brune ale with just the right amount of fruity flavor and good spice as well. This was fantastic.

Sampled at Carborro Beverage Co. Pale hazy brown with a thick fizzy light tan head. The nose was tart, acetic, earthy, fruity. The flavor had a strange fruityness to it, tart, earthy bite.

They call it a "winter" beer so you’ll keep drinking it after Christmas. Thinner and plainer than most Christmas ales, although I did like the cinnamon aroma.
