Jun 24, 2008 Bottle. Sweet barley and grassy hops aroma. Golden yellow color with moderate head - moderate effervescense - has the tiniest bubbles I’ve ever seen in any liquid. Sweet barley malt and strong grass hops. Decent - nothing distinctive.

Jun 8, 2008 The bottle looks really good, the beer in the glass also. Nice head. Starts mild, a little bit dry. The finish is sourish and fruity. Very drinkable. Good Gold-beer!

Apr 30, 2007 Bottled. Golden coloured. I know that these beers are made for young people who normally don’t drink beer, but somehow I actually like them. This one is fresh and soft with a friendly totalitarian touch, like most of them. Quite pleasant.

Mar 1, 2007 Das Bier überrascht mich, wirklich! Erwartet habe ich Gold-Bier typisch ein wässriges komisches Zeug, aber das hier ist wohl das, worin die eigentliche Bestimmung eines Gold-Bieres liegen sollte. Der Antrunk ist herb, deutlich. Auch der Mittelteil ist überwiegend herb, gepaart mit einem leichten Malzton. Ein bitteres Aroma scheint ab und an hochkommen zu wollen, wird aber wirkungsvoll unterdrückt. Im Nachgeschmack ist das Bier noch einmal ansprechend herb. Eindeutig - das beste Goldbier, das es gibt. Dies hier ist nicht für Jugendliche gemacht sondern tatsächlich für Leute, die einfach mal ein milderes Bier trinken wollen!

Jan 9, 2006 (bottle) Clear golden colour with a frothy white medium head. Weak papery malty aroma. Light bodied, fizzy mouthfeel, dry grainy malty taste with notes of cardboard, slightly bitter, unbalanced, thin but fizzy finish.
