Coloração escura, creme medianamente denso e consistente, deixando uma camada perene no copo. Muito leve no aroma e no sabor. O malte torrado, que é a marca do estilo, só é percebido no final. Para uma schwarzbier, deixa um pouco a desejar. Falta mais corpo e caráter.

Clear medium amber color with a average to large, frothy to creamy, good lacing, fully lasting, light beige head. Aroma is moderate malty, dark bread, roasted, light caramel. Flavor is moderate to light light heavy sweet and light to moderate bitter with a long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20091113]

Nov 13, 2009 50 cL bottle. Pours clear and golden deep orange to amber with a small tan head. Aroma is roasted malty, light hoppy note. Caramelish and breadish malty flavoured. Slight bitter and roasted malty to breadish flavoured. Smooth breadish finish.

Nov 13, 2009 Bottle, 5.3%. Sweet roasted aroma. Clear dark brown colour. Big stable tan head. Roasted flavour, slightly vinous with some rye bread notes. Not bad.

Oct 27, 2009 Deep brown or close to black. Faint scent of roasted malt. Watery, dominated by unpleasant bitterness and too light on the palate. Too light to be a real Schwarzbier. This used to be a better beer.

Initial flavor: light sweetness and bitterness. Final flavor: moderate bitterness and light sweetness. Long duration. Oxidated aftertaste. Tastes like coffee. A few sour hints. Dec 23, 2008 Bottled.Dark brown color, wi t a beige head, Aroma is sweety and weak, flavor is sweet also, like our schwarzbier that is not good. Mouth feel have no bitterness.. I didnt like it.

Oct 30, 2008 Picked up at Maruhn Getränke in Darmstadt. Pours a dark reddish brown color. Aromas of roasted malts, bits of chocolate and coffee. Flavor has a nice bitter roast taste and a touch of hops on the finish.
