Tap at Capones. Pours a raspberry pinkish red with a medium bubbly white head that left sticky lacing. Aroma of mixed berries (kind of like the mix berry jelly packs at diners), kind of artificial and light hints of wheat malt. Flavor of tart slightly tart berries. The berry in the flavor was less artificial than the aroma. This beer was dry, crisp and refreshing. Served almost frozen at Capones and this cold the beer was refreshing. Could see it being a hit with some of the Philly hipsters in Fishtown.

On tap at Capone’s. Poured a medium reddish/amberish/brownish color with a small sized off white head. Aromas of berries (although on the artificial side) and citrus. Tastes of berries (lots of different ones and better than the aromas), citrus, and lightly earthy. Light tart finish.

Draught at Capone’s: Sweet aroma of berries, raspberries, blackberries, and light malts. Poured deep amber/slight purple/deep orange in color with a small, light purple head that lasted throughout. Clear. Slightly sparkling. Flavor is medium sweet. Tastes of berries, raspberries, blackberries, and malts. Light to medium body. Lightly dry texture. Average carbonation. Sweet, berry finish. Pretty good for a fruit beer.

Hazy purple amber with a small, off white head that left light lacing on the glass. Aroma of berry skins, citrus, and toast. Taste of toffee, toasted malts, some citrus, and sweeter berries.

Draft at Craft. This one pours magenta with off-pink fizzy head. Nose is fresh raspberries, mild earthy and citrus. Tastes alcopoppy, with the raspberry flavor being authentic, but there is not much complexity here. Like a slightly less sweet raspberry wine cooler.
