DocLock (3959), Lower Pottsgrove, Pennsylvania, USA May 13, 2008 Bottle. Deep coppery pour with 1-finger off-white head. Nose is piney hops, caramel malt, some fruit, pineapple. The palate is fairly rich, around medium in heft, with a solid pineapple/pine needle hop flavor matched by decent amounts of malt. This one isn’t a world-beater, but it is not too shabby at all.
SQNfan (386), Wheaton, Illinois, USA Jul 10, 2008 Light copper in color with a moderate fluffy white head. The nose was filled with floral hops, orange pulp and herbs. In the mouth it was light and bitter lacking flavor concentration. The palate was dry as expcected but just didn’t have much flavor. pforei (315), USA Jul 8, 2008 Bottle from Foodery. Amber with moderate head. Mild aroma and flavor. Perfumey and floral hops with light malt. Easy to drink. illinismitty (1322), Nashville, Tennessee, USA Jun 23, 2008 Bottle from Foodery II in Philadelphia. Pours pale amber with an off white head (yellow hues) and nice lacing. Aroma of toffee and wet brewing grains. Medium light bodied. British like maltiness (toffee and caramel) countered by a muted hop bitterness that lingers. This would be an ideal candidate for a cask offering. lemasney (232), Trenton, New Jersey, USA Jun 21, 2008 ABV: 6.5%

overall 14 out of 20 k4df4l (133), DTown, Pennsylvania, USA Jun 21, 2008 A: Sweet malt backed by lightly floral and citrusy hops
A: clear orange/amber with a nice two finger off white head that settles into a blanket of bubbles which remain until the end of the glass
F: Starts lightly bitter with ample sweet malty notes. The hops come through slightly spicy & fairly citrusy. Finishes on a moderately bitter note.
O: IPA? really? Not a bad beer (as an English pale rather than trying to hang with hoppy IPA category, even if you say Brit/English)
