Bottle: pours a clear golden amber color with a frothy white head, light floral hop aroma, taste is mildly hoppy, just a touch bitter and pretty smooth. A nice IPA.

Aug 20, 2008 Cask@GBBF2008. Golden colour, not much head. Aroma is fruits, wood, some flowery and fruity hops along with mild notes of alcohol. Flavour is alcohol, fruits, nectar and quite nutty. Also some grassy and earthyness in the finish.

Aug 19, 2008 Cask at GBBF 08. It is hazy amber. A little earthy on the hops. Not ready yet. Too muddy, earthy. It came on quite late on the Thursday as some US stuff was running out and I think they put it on strictly before it was ready. Not really sure that it is supposed to be this muddy/earthy.

Jul 27, 2008 Dark amber hue with creamy white head, excellent lacing, decent amount of hops, not the best IPA but decent, more aromatic than hoppy to taste, , nothing special but good brewery economically priced, fresh, my 3rd favorite at this point from Philadelphia Brewing Company, should recognize that every distributor has in stock, does that mean everyone likes the other styles better?

Jul 20, 2008 Honey colored with huge white whipped cream head. Aroma is citrus zest with slight oxidized vegetal undertones and mild sweetness. Taste is lemony and bitter with pithy bite. Other than that, not much going on flavor-wise. $2/12ozs

Jul 10, 2008 Light copper in color with a moderate fluffy white head. The nose was filled with floral hops, orange pulp and herbs. In the mouth it was light and bitter lacking flavor concentration. The palate was dry as expcected but just didn’t have much flavor.
